In addition to TMCCL's regular support of Medecins sans Frontieres, delegates at the Dusseldorf brazing conference had a chance to enter a light hearted competition to guess or calculate the number of brazing rings in a plastic container.
 
The joint winners out of nearly 150 entries were Dr Anja Steinmetz from Chemetall GmbH and Rolf Guenzel from Vermotec GmbH. A donation of €150 will be sent to each of their chosen charities.

TMCCL once again had a booth at the excellent ‘Aluminium Brazing Congress’ organised by Aluminium-Verlag.
 
Most of the 195 delegates visited the TMCCL display and we were very pleased to meet lots of old friends from the heat exchanger and aluminium industries.
 
TMCCL also made new customers in France and Czech Republic, to whom we have already supplied three batches of 'panic' supplies and prototype materials.
 
New enquiries were also received for brazing rings in flux-cored wire and 'powder wire' for an American customer, 4045 brazing foil for a customer in Germany and double clad brazing sheet in thickness 2.5mm for a customer in Scandinavia.
