TMCCL would like to thank everybody who entered the Christmas / New Year competition. Almost £300 (€450 or US$ 600) was raised for Médecins Sans Frontières, which we rounded up to £500 (€750, US$ 1,000)

The winner was Wolf Ötting from Hydro Aluminium in Grevenbroich, Germany who knew that my saxophone is made of brass. He also chose to donate his prize to Médecins Sans Frontières.

Brass in a wonderful material for making saxophones and other musical instruments, but aluminium is far better for heat exchangers, of course!
